One of the arguments against GMOs has been that they caused the evolution of so-called “superweeds”, an epidemic that apparently has the world heading for a crisis. Some claim that soon we will be unable to sustain our modern agriculture techniques, and GMOs will no longer be usable. Fortunately, the reality is quite different.
